Addiction and Recovery

We provide comprehensive support for individuals who want to stop using drugs and alcohol and regain control of their lives.
A group of adults take comfort in each other as they meet in therapy.

Our approach to care

We provide evidence-based, compassionate care for persons with substance use disorders and related problems. Our clinical programs bring together the best available assessment tools and treatments, ranging from psychotherapy to medication.

Substance use disorders are caused by a variety of things. Recovery often requires first dealing with the substance use, then addressing the biological and psychosocial factors. Here at Centra we provide person-centered treatment to help you on your path to recovery.

Our substance abuse and addiction experts provide the following care:

  • Evaluation and consultation
  • Medical and/or psychiatric treatment
  • Individual and group therapy

Meet our team

Centra's team of Caregivers is dedicated to providing the most advanced, personalized care.

Programs we offer

Residential program

Our residential program is best for those struggling with alcohol and drug use and requiring more intensive treatment than our IOP program.

Intensive Outpatient program

Our outpatient treatment programs (IOP) meet during the day or evening so you can take care of work, family, or other responsibilities. We meet three hours a day, four days a week for 6-8 weeks. We also have the option to connect virtually.

Treatments we offer

We utilize a broad array of person-centered treatments to help you on your recovery journey including acudetox. You will have the opportunity to attend twelve-step meetings because people who attend these meetings are better able to maintain abstinence from alcohol and drugs and find much needed community and social support.

Exercise and recreational activities

Part of recovery is discovering or rediscovering things that you enjoy doing, that add meaning to your life, such as exercise, yoga, art, and therapeutic outings.

Group and individual therapy

Being part of a group where you can safely share struggles and experiences can help you feel connected and less alone. Our therapists will assist you in creating a plan of treatment, finding a balance between change and acceptance, developing new coping skills, and improving your overall wellness and health.

Medication - Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), for example Suboxone, is used in all our programs to help with withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
